The Artist
Sarah Gauthier founded Soul Remedy Art in 2017. Her passion for art was developed early in my life while growing up in Vermont. Art gave her a voice to communicate with the world around her and gave her tools to form genuine connections with her community and with herself. Sarah has gathered inspiration from her own healing journey as an artist, her educational and professional journey as an art therapist and from the vast environments that she has been gifted to live and explore in. Sarah lived in New York City for 8 years while getting her B.A. in Psychology and Fine Arts and later her Masters in Creative Arts Therapy. Sarah continued to get her credentials as a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Art Therapist in New York. Sarah now resides back in Vermont where she continues to use her own art, skills as an art therapists and passion for mental health work to contribute positively to her community. Sarah's been largely influenced by the works of Georgia O'Keefe and art themes typically include bright and bold uses of color, abstract interpretations of nature and view finding close up on objects to explore new perspectives and designs.
